Your right to delete your data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Tether at any time. This includes your account information, time entries, job history, crew data, and any other information associated with your account.

We will process all deletion requests within 30 days of receipt and confirm completion via email.

How to request deletion

Email us at terry.tetherapp@gmail.com with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"

Provide the email address associated with your Tether account so we can locate and verify your data.

We confirm and process

We'll confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, sending a final confirmation when done.

What gets deleted

Upon a completed deletion request, we will remove:

  • Your account credentials and profile information
  • All time entries and punch clock history associated with your account
  • Job and task data you created
  • Crew member associations and linked employee data
  • Office AI conversation history
  • Location history collected during work sessions
  • Subscription and billing information (payment records are handled by our payment processor per their policies)

Deleting an admin account will also remove all associated employee accounts and data linked to that business. Employees will be notified where possible.

What may be retained

In limited cases, we may retain certain data after a deletion request:

  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you personally
  • Records required by law or regulation (e.g. financial records for tax purposes)
  • Data needed to resolve an active dispute or enforce an agreement
  • Backup copies, which are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We recommend exporting any data you wish to keep before submitting a deletion request.

Employee accounts

If you are an employee (non-admin) user and wish to delete your data, you can:

  • Contact your admin to remove your account from their workspace
  • Email us directly at terry.tetherapp@gmail.com — we will coordinate with the account admin and process your request within 30 days
